Fees and payment

Fee structure (January – December 2013):

• Application Fee: UGX 50,000 (Ugandans) or USD $20 or Euro 15 for non-Ugandans (Non-refundable)
• Graduate Admission Test: UGX 50,000 (Ugandans) or USD $20 or Euro 15 for non-Ugandans (Non-refundable)
• Acceptance Fee: UGX 200,000 (Ugandans) or USD 80 or Euro 60 for non-Ugandans (Non-refundable)
• Module fees Public Health, International Development, and ICTs for Development:
  • Ugandan citizens: UGX 700,000
  • Non-Ugandan citizens: USD 400 OR Euro 330
  • Module fees Business Administration:
    • Ugandan citizens: UGX 800,000
    • Non-Ugandan citizens: USD 450 OR Euro 350
  • Master's dissertation: UGX 1,000,000 (Ugandans) or USD 600 or Euro 330 for non-Ugandans
    Note: module fees paid cannot be refunded later than one week after the start of a course should you decide not to take the course.

  Additional information about fees
  All research costs are borne by the student. All module fees are inclusive of registration costs, examination fees, and graduation fees (gowns not included -- these can be bought or hired at a reasonable price should you wish to graduate on campus).
  Re-sit examinations are subject to fees of UGX 30,000 (Ugandans) or USD 15 or Euro 10 for non-Ugandans
  Special examinations are subject to fees of UGX 50,000 (Ugandans) or USD 20 or Euro 15 for non-Ugandans.
  Note that fees are likely to incur an increase of at least 6% per year.
  All fees must be paid into the university bank accounts using the correct bank slip for Shillings, Dollars, or Euros.

  Use this form if you are not a Ugandan citizen and wish to pay in EUR.
  Use this form if you are not a Ugandan citizen and wish to pay in USD.

  Payment instructions
  Download the appropriate bank payment slip, fill it in carefully, then submit the completed form to your bank. Be sure to have all three parts (A,B,C) stamped by the bank. The bank will keep part (A). You must keep parts (B) and (C). Part (B) must be submitted to us (VUU) in order to complete the payment process. You should scan this and send it by email.
